Artitudes Design Inc. was named as a finalist in the categories of “Best Overall Company of the Year – Service Business- up to 100 Employees” and “Community Involvement Program of the Year” in the 7th annual Stevie Awards for Women in Business.

The Stevie Awards for Women in Business honor women executives, entrepreneurs, and the companies they run – worldwide.  Nicknamed the Stevies for the Greek word “crowned,” the Stevie Awards have been hailed as the world’s premier business award.

The winners will be announced during a gala event at the Marriott Marquis hotel in New York on Friday, November 12th. Nominated women executives and entrepreneurs from the United States and several other countries are expected to attend. The presentation will be broadcast live by the Business TalkRadio Network.

More than 1,200 entries from around the globe – a record for the competition – were submitted this year for consideration in 54 categories. Artitudes was selected as a finalist for the “Best Overall Company of the Year – Service Business – up to 100 Employees” for its forward-thinking vision and organizational philosophy, which is to provide exceptional design services, develop strong client relationships and value its employees.

For the “Community Involvement Program of the Year” category, Artitudes was selected for the creation of its “Artitudes in Action – Art Docent Campaign” which brings much-needed interactive arts education back into elementary schools in the Puget Sound area. The program reaches over 450 students each year.

Andrea Heuston, CEO & Creative Principal, said, “Artitudes is honored to be a finalist for these prestigious awards and to be among other women who are also passionate about the betterment of their companies, employees and communities.” Michael Gallagher, President of the Stevie Awards said, “It was harder than ever to be recognized in the Stevie Awards for Women in Business this year.” He emphasized that “receiving a high score from the judges illustrates how well many women in business are doing despite the stiff challenges they face.”

Artitudes is proud to be recognized for its achievements in organizational strength and community outreach.

“At Artitudes, we believe every client, employee and child deserves to be treated with respect. This philosophy will help build better businesses and communities in the future,” states Heuston.
