Made A Poem For My Mother's Birthday Tomorrow....

Hello. My name is Caitlin McVicker. I am 12 years old, soon to be 13 in December. Anyways, tomorrow is my Mother's birthday, and I made her a poem. I would like to know what you think

Mom – On Your Birthday

Mom, you are truly the best.

The greatest woman on earth.

I can’t help to think.

It’s been like this since birth.


You’re ready to help us when we’re down.

If we’re feeling sick, you’ll help us through.

Comforting us until we’re ready to go again.

Whenever I’m sad, I’ll just think of you.


Sure, we may have gotten into fights.

But how could I stay mad at somebody like you?

I love you forever and always.

It hurts us both so much while fighting, too.


Lucky for us, we get along like great pals.

Some kids aren’t lucky enough to experience it, too.

I know we’ll help each other through tough times.

Because that’s just what best friends do.


I shall wrap this up, with an ending verse.

But there’s just one thing, I must ask from you.

Please remember, mom, no matter what I say or do.

I will always and forever, love you.

I tried to make it rhyme, and sound right at the same time, as best i could.... ^_^''
