Wedding Speech

Hi, I had originally been asked to be my best mates MOH. I have now been asked to give her away as well since her uncle has had a stroke. Added to this neither of the brides parents are with us any more as they both passed away a few years ago. I really need help with this speech as it will have to be a mixture of everything. Help!!!

It seems you are in an unusual situation. I would recommend that in your speech, you give thanks for the honor bestowed upon you. You could also mention the pride in which the parents would have to see their child grow up to be such wonderful people.

Remember that your speech should not be too long (about 5 minutes) and should have the right balance of sentiment as well as humor.
