Interview, 3 months in job presentation

Does anyone have any idea what I could cover in a job interview presentation? The presentation is to be on what I would do in my first three months on the job. I haven't been able to think of anything other than the basics of "get to know team", "assess how the team works together", "deal with minor issues" and "provide support". It's for an interview for a team leader position in a sales team in a call centre. I was only advised today and my interview is next week! Help!!

Hello,

Some ideas for your presentation:

First remember to ask these 5 questions -

Who is the audience? (the interviewing board - how many people, what roles - do your research to find out more about them)

What do they want to hear? (That you can do the job, will do the job, and will fit in to the culture of the organisation)

What do you want to say? (Yes I can do it, yes I want to do it, and yes I will fit in!)

Where is the overlap? (Think of a relevant story which illustrates these points)

How will I know if I've been successful? (I will get the job!)

Now, in terms of what you could include in your first 3 months, you could cover the following areas: introduce myself to the team, learn quickly, understand what I need to deliver (and deliver this by securing early wins to ensure credibility) build my team, help my team achieve their goals.

People remember best when you illustrate your presentation with stories, so you could recount how you started a previous job (obviously where you were successful) to show how good you will be at this one.

Hope this helps - let me know if you get the job!
