Help! need advice! asap

I need help with a presentation for my sociology class. the topic is overpopulation in China (and the One Child Policy). i have no idea what to do for the presentation or how to execute it. any ideas or advice will be appreciated. the presentation must be interactive. thanks to all who help!

First things first - remember that you're taking a sociology class, not a public speaking class. That means your presentation is the means to the end, not the end in itself!

Now on to the stuff you actually want to hear!

Stories are always good - I'd start with the one about the chinese emperor who offered lots of grains of rice to a workman, who instead asked for one grain for the first square of a drafts board, two for the second, four for the third, eight for the fourth and so on... pretty soon he'd have had all the rice in china...... the analogy should be obvious to your class.

Once you've got them interested you can throw in a few facts and figures. Remember though, that the whole point is to explain the one child policy and why it's necessary/working etc rather than prove you can make a presentation, per se.
