Power point sounds good or bad???

I was just wondering if i am having a presentation, if it is good to have those power point sounds, to attract attention or releif.

Good or bad??

You need to be very careful in using sounds in the presentation. You have to ask yourself if adds materially to the understanding of the presentation.

If it doesn't and it is just to make the presentation more snazzy, then you would be better off not using sound clips.

You shouldn't use any sounds for a powerpoint presentation unless it is part of what you are presenting (ie. video). The only sound the audience should listen to is the presenter's voice.

I would not use the sounds because it would draw to much attention

Just study what you are going to say. It is not that hard to present. Its like talking to your friends or family. Be calm and go for it.

I once did a presentation for a Radio Station... and I had to come up with a competition.. I did it and called it 5 Gold Rings.... The only sound I used was for a slide on the MONEY.. and I used a cash register sound.... It paired perfectly with the slide and got a surprised ooh of my potential employer.. I got the job... lol.. !!
