i need help with my oral!!
this is what i have to do:
You are to assume the role of a politically intereasted Austrlain and Present a speech about whether or not the rudd Government should have issued a formal apology to members of the stole generations. Should that apology have also included compensation to members o the stole generations? i believe that the apology was a good idea! also im not aloud to speak in the first person!! help me! what should i say? how can i start the oral? please help!! |

I'm confused.
Sorry, but I don't see how you can "assume the role of" and then not use the first person. Doing the first one pretty much requires the second.
The only way I can see around that dichotomy is to assume the role of, for example, a "member of the opposition" in parliament. I don't know how the Australian parliament is constructed (but presumably you do!) so I can't make a specific suggestion but if it was in the House of Commons (UK, where live) I'd pretend I was one of "Her Majesty's Loyal Opposition" at "Prime Minister's Question Time" and lambast the Prime Minister for his actions (or lack of them).
