Help with handouts
I'm new to the forum, but I need to create a handout for school about heroes and I have no clue where to start. So I'm just wondering if any of you guys here could help me out.

Hello
Start off by thinking about handouts that you've had in the past for guidance. Maybe you can check what type of information is put into the handout and work with your topic that way. You want an opener / heading to begin with a few lines or a sentence that will lead the reader into the topic - so maybe a quote about heroes. Then look at the main content you'll include - so what do you want people to know about the topic.. make sure you include facts that you might be testing people on later! Consider - Will you put in pictures? - I recommend that you do. Then have a close/summary to the topic. You can also consider: How many pages will the handout be? Layout - perhaps keep it simple like a poster style for example. Hope this helps & Good luck! Regards, Pamela |
