Is there anyway to make it so that when my viewer clicks on a 'linkless' spot of my page, it won't go to the next slide?

Click on the SLIDE SHOW tab at the top of the page and then to slide transition and then click on the tickbox [ADVANCE ON MOUSE CLICK] that should already be selected to untick it
