PPT 2003 Custom Animation within MS Graph?

Greetings,

I create many of my slides within the MS Graph feature that resides in PPT 2003.

Is it possible to create custom animations within MS Graph ... to the degree possible when animating regular PPT slides?

For example, I created a line chart in MS Graph where each segment of a data curve represents one year's "progress" along the horizontal x-axis. Is it possible to animate this data curve so that it "grows" across the slide as it progresses ... segment by segment ... from year to year?
