Using video sound through whole presentation
I would like to start a presentaion with a video clip, have the audio portion continue through the presentation while progressing through a series of still shots, then show the video portion only of a second video clip.
Can this be done in Power Point? Irvin. <>< |

Not directly . . .
I don't think you can do this directly. What I would do is this . . . extract the audio from your video file (Adobe Audition or Xilisoft Video to Audio Converter are two good tools for this) . . . then make a clip of the video file without the audio. Insert the video and audio clips and animate the audio with the video clip, not after or on its own click. Make sure you set the audio clip to run for the same duration as the number of slides in your presentation so it won't stop when you move to the next slide. Set the slide with the video on it to advance automatically at the same timing as the length of the video. Do the same for the later clip.
This should get it done for you, just make sure you get the timings right and keep the audio synced and you should be fine. Chuck |
