ActiveX?!
Hi,
I have a pretty major presentation/ job interview coming up and there is an animated picture I need to use (taken from a ppt slide of my supervisor). However, my mac can't read it - it says that it doesn't have/support activex.... I can't just go out and drop 100 euros on a new powerpoint application (very poor student) - what can I do? Thanks in advance for your help! - C |

The bad news - I don't think there's any way to make Macs use ActivX
The good - if anyone knows it will be the folks here Mac Office NG

Sounds daft, but try not using the picture.
Not sure that it would make that much difference |

Hi there
I am a Mac user and sorry to say that from my experience Macs don't support embedded flash files etc. The good news is that most people present from pc so hopefully you will be presenting from their system and it can run. Alternatively, try to get someone to take a screengrab of that page from their pc and use it as a static image? Good luck! Louise |
