Eliminate borders?
I've applied a nice background to a set of slides created in PowerPoint but, when I print them, there is a white border all around the page. I'm assuming this has something to do with margins or the page setup. Has anyone encountered this problem before and do you know how to set it up so that the slide and background take up the entire printed page?
Thank you! |

On some printers this is handled in the properties section of the print option e.g. Print to edge? have you tried looking there? Bernard

Thanks for the suggestion Bernard. What I found was that under "Page Setup" you can select custom sizings for the slide and set it to be the full 8.5 x 11.
Thanks again! |

Improved Handout Printing - No Margins
This works for my Brother printer, and yours may be slightly different.
Instead of printing handouts, select Slides and check off "Scale to Paper". , but when you start the printing, on the "Printer Properties", select "Basic" and on the "Multiple Page" options, select 2 in 1 or 4 in 1 choices, as portrait - and it will print off the full slides in multiple fashion on the page. The only problem is when I try to pick 4 in 1, it always print them in landscape instead of portrait - probably due to the slides' sizing problem. However, it looks much better than the tiny handout pictures - being much more readable. |
