Consulting interview: advisement on ideas
I have a 2nd round interview coming up with a consulting firm. It has been requested that I contact the managing partner tomorrow with my ideas for the presentation so he can give my presentation topic the "okay".
I will be required to give a 20 minute presentation to the consultants/managing partners of the firm in 5 days. My hang-up is that the topic should not be too technical, but also an area where I feel I am an expert. Given I have two graduate degrees in molecular biology....and now an MBA....it is challenging for me to determine presentation topics which are not technical. I don't have anything that I could use from my MBA program since the presentations were designed by my cohort group, and not individual. Any thoughts or ideas would be greatly appreciated!! I am completely stuck and look forward to receiving feedback. Thank you very much in advance for your ideas. |

Personally I would pick a topic that interests you. A technical topic will be good, but you need to present this in a way that is easy for a non-technical audience.
How about - "everything you wanted to know about molecular biology, but were too afraid to ask" or even "Seven things you probably don't know about molecular biology" |
