making a presentation about myself
hello all,
I have a interview with a music examination board at the beginning of sept and I have to do a presentation. The presentation can be on any subject and i'm finding it very hard to decide on one, I teach music in schools and have done very well out of performing music, before I started teaching so my wife thinks I should do a presentation on myself in music or making a living through music. Would the employers want to listen to this or would it make me just sound vain and big headed. and also how could I structure a presentation me and making a living through music. Thanks for reading Iain W |

Do not worry about vanity, it is a job interview after all. Just ensure you come across as confident rather than over confident. Tell the panel about any awards you have won, mention how music is your passion and perhaps provide a short demonstration of your talent as well.
