Help!!
I have made it through to the 3rd & final interview for a Major Account Executive with DHL as a walking role throughout West London and will be responsible approx 30-40 major accounts. I have been asked to give a presentation as below:
For this meeting you are required to prepare a short (no more than 15 minutes) presentation, which should take the form of a plan outlining the activities & action plan you would propose for your first 60 days “on patch” (i.e. once your basic induction training had been completed). Please can you help with pointers and ideas? Thanks, |

Well, the PowerPoint slides (if you will use any) should be your secondary concern. The most important part is of course the content of your presentation. But that's where you are specialized in, and I can't help you there too much.
But once you've got the content, in presentations I like to break it down into three elements. So maybe what you want to do is take the top 3 concrete activities/actions that you would like to implement and talk about each of them for 3-4 minutes. You should probably also make the case how each of the activities will support the business. I've actually written about some of these things on my blog, instead of writing the text all over again, I hope it's ok if I post a couple of links here Having only one core message One core message… and the elephant « ReThink Presentations - Presentation Design and Communication Skills Rethinking Presentation Design (it's about crafting a story for your presentation) Welcome to ReThink Presentations! « ReThink Presentations - Presentation Design and Communication Skills (these are 94 slides, but you'll whizz by them really fast!) I hope this helps, Oliver
