3 Minute Presentation on a Childrens Book- Help Needed

Hi,

I was wondering if someone was able to offer me some help/advice/opinions etc!

I've got an interview next week for a place on a teacher training course (Job interview was the best match for the thread I thought...)- as one part of the interview I have to give a presentation on a book written in the past 10 years that I think or know that children will love. They want me to talk about why I have chosen the book, and have given a list of things to include (story, author, language etc etc) .

The presentation has to be 3 minutes long (which seems incredibly short!), and no 'technology aids' are allowed. It is to be presented to a small group of fellow interviewees and 2 interviewers.

I have chosen the book (H.I.V.E by Mark Walden if anyone is curious) and obviously have ideas for the content, but I am struggling with how to actually 'present' the presentation/what format to use...

One of the main things they say they are looking for is the "ability to engage a small group positively" and "clear and accurate oral communication" - I am normally able to do both fairly well, but for some reason seem to be at a lost end thinking how to deal with this presentation. (and I'm more used to giving 'presentations' so to speak to children, rather than my peers!)

I have been thinking about keeping it simple and talking with great enthusiasm about the book, breaking the presentation down into 3 or 4 mini sections- but to truly engage the 'audience' do I need to do something that has audience 'involvement'? Any other tips on how I can make sure I engage with the small group or any bright ideas as to how I could present the presentation differently in order to 'stand out' (for a good reason!) ??

I'm also keen on peoples views on whether I should produce some for of handout? Is this over the top so to speak for a 3 min presentation?

Can you help me. Is here anybody who studies at Medic school or a college or may be university. May be somebody knows some sites of medic school material
I need some texts about health, different health catigories ex mental health, women health and other. I should make my home work soon. Please help me to find some info. And it should be information that yahoo cant find, cos my teacher kill me for that.
