Final Stage Presentation
I've got to the final stage for Technical sales role with a software company and have been asked to give a presentation on a subject that I am passionate about.
I think I have two options here the first being to go with the subject that the software deals with and present a why ***? or my second option is to go with something I am personally passionate about which would be my cars, car clubs I am involved in etc on the basis of a hobby. Does anyone have any thoughts or advice? Many thanks |

Be passionate
Personally I would always go on to the subject that you are passionate about. This will come across in the way that you present.
If it is for a technical sales role then then a technical subject - like your car club could be a good fit. Lots of sales people - and particulalry sales managers - love cars (you are likely to spend a lot of time in one). It also lends itself to a very pictorial type of presentation that will help you to get your message across. Just be careful not to get too geeky. Good luck and please let us know how you get on. |
