I was offered the job!!

Just wanted to say a big thank you for producing such a wonderful site.
There are many sites around job interviews, but as I'd never done a presentation for a job interview I needed something more specific. Your site was just the answer.

I did the presentation today and received positive feedback, and was offered the job.
I think the best tip from your site, was to rehearse your presentation with an audio casettee if a video wasn't available. I would never have thought of that, but it helped no end, and gave me the confidence that my presentation flowed correctly.

I have book marked your site and no doubt will return when I next have to do a presenation.

I want to say thank you SO MUCH! my husband went for a business to business sales job and he had to give a presentation on powerpoint and do a role play. we didnt have a clue where to start, since he had worked in sales but never business to business and neither of us had ever used powerpoint or given a formal presentation.

We found this site and used many of the tips and advice to produce a presentation, though i didn't stick completely to the rule of three (in parts i did), i did use lots of visuals, which i would have previously thought not professional enough for a sales business presentation. I also used the advice about humour, stories and experience to make the human connection. Plus loads more stuff, i can't even remember now in my euphoric state!

Anyway in short they offered him the job on the spot! and i know without the help from this site - he wouldnt have nailed the job, which is 3 times the salary he's on now!!!
