daughters wedding poem to lost sister
Hello,Can anyone help me? My youngest daughter is getting married soon and she wants to do a reading to include her elder sister (kelly)who died in 1998 aged 16 yrs.We have no idea what to say without it sounding too sad because it is after all a happy day.Or any ideas for anything else e can do on the day to remember kelly.all help would be very much appreciate, thanks

That's a hard one, and I can't think of an individual reading.
Rather than just mentioning Kelly, why not write something out along the lines of a family tree from Great Grandparents forwards, mentioning all those who have gone before in both families, living or dead, who are joined together by the marriage. You could mention them by name, by their position in the family, and a word or two about their nature or personality. That way, Kelly gets a mention but without making things too sad. |
