unable to attend my grandads funeral

My grandad died on monday and I am unable to attend his funeral as i work offshore there is no set date and i am returning to work tomorrow i want to have the minister to read a short note on my behalf but don't know where to start my wife and child will be there on my behalf ,i know my grandad wont mind as he worked hard all his life to support his family

Why not start an online memory book?

There are lots of sites that do this (including mine) and they provide a place of remembrance ideal for anyone who can't actually attend a funeral.

You can add pictures (even a video), background music, and as much information as you could ever want.
