Poem for Grandad

I wondered if anybody could help? My grandad died 3 hours ago and i would like to do a reading/poem for him at his funeral.He was a buisness man,which involved recovery of broken down and road traffic accident vehicles and garage buisness.I wondered if any body knew of anything that would incorporate his work into a reading.Many thanks to any one who can help.

Sorry I cant help you with your initial request of a poem but I was trawling the internet from poems myself. My grandad died last Sunday so Imin a similar position, the funeral is tomorrow and I just wanted to say sorry for your loss.

Hi, I read this at my Grandads funeral on Tuesday, hope it helps,

Grandad, you werre just a lad
So many years ago
You had your loves and had your dreams
You watched us come and go

You watched us make the same mistakes
That you had made before
but that just made you hold us tight
And love us all the more

We haven't always thought about
The things that you have seen
To us you've just been `Grandad`
No thought of who you've been

But we remember in love today
Your life from start to end
And we're just glad we knew you
As Grandad and as friend.
