Remembrance Poem Required

Hello everbody,

I need help writing a poem for my son Harry about his great grandad. Harry was born on the 18th September 2006, 2 hours after his great grandad passed away in the same hospital. He was my hero, my only grandad. My dying wish would be for my grandad to see my son! Im crying just writing this. Grandad would have loved him so much and I just wish that Harry could have learnt as much as I did from him. Harry never got to see his great grandad, as he passed away suddenly. Its coming up to 1 year and I would like to write a poem from Harry to his great grandad.

If anyone could help, you wouldn't know how grateful I would be.

Your poem could link the two.

Harry could talk about what he's learnt from you (that you in turn had learnt from your Dad).

You've gained from your Dad's experience, and Harry will learn from you. So indirectly, Harry is learning from his Granddads experience.
