poem for auntie from a child
Hi
My young sons auntie died yesterday and his dad has asked me to try to find a poem to be read out at the funeral from him (my son). His auntie Candy was only 36 and had an absolutely tragic life. I would like to find something quite simple and more upbeat as she was such a happy character and would have hated anyone to be miserable at her funeral. I have no idea if there are poems from children to thier relatives. Please could you help? |

Poem for a young aunty
We cannot judge a biography by it's length,
Nor by the number of pages in it. We must Judge it by the richness of its contents Sometimes those unfinished are among the most poignant. We cannot judge a song by it’s duration Nor by the number of it’s notes We must Judge it by the way it touches and lifts our souls Sometimes those unfinished are among the most beautiful. And when something has enriched your life And when it’s melody lingers on in your heart Is it unfinished? Or is it endless? Hope this helps |
