Torn..
My uncle died yesterday and i was asked to write something for his services. The problem is that I am not very close to him...at all. I am fairly close with my aunt and she asked me and would be crushed if i told her no. I am torn between telling her no and seeming fake with saying something too emotional. PLEase HELP!

Your uncle
Don't be fake.
Say how close you were to your Aunty, and that you want to pay a tribute because he loved her, cared for her, and meant everything to her. So you're paying tribute not because you were close to him, but because he was close to someone you were both close to. |
