Need a poem for grandma's funeral service

Hi there,

My dear grandma passed away recently due to old age - she was 100 years old!. I was very close to her and would like to read a poem at her funeral service but I'm having a difficult time finding the perfect poem for her. My gramps was the sweetest, most thoughtful, kind-hearted person I know. She was a great listener, always there for me. She had so much love and laughter to share with those around her - she is true happiness. She was down to earth - she enjoyed the simple things in life. She was well respected and loved by all. I've known her all my life - she was like a second mom to my siblings and I. Losing her has been extremely tough for the family as she is the glue that holds the extended family together.

The funeral service will be held this coming Sunday (March 4, 2007) - please help.

With much gratitude,
Lisa

Up There.

Up there
Looking down at me
And although you smile
I don't think it means much

After all,
Giving out so many smiles
One must mean nothing to you
Even
If it means a lot to me.
Thinking of this
While you grin
I cannot help but frown
And
Doing this
Break the smile which you carry with you.

This is the saving grace
To show that the grin which you gave
Was meant to be received
Not just used to cover boredom.
Now though
I have ruined this hand reached out to me
From the pit of loneliness
And cut the rope from which I hung.

As I fall into the purple black obis
I wave goodbye to you
Staring down your nose at me
In the yellow dappled light.
Now i smile up at you,
as i know you smile on me.

I'm sorry for your loss.
