My Dad's Sudden Death

Hi, I am sorry to hear for your loss. I just wanted to acknowledge your loss as i too have lost my father suddenly. My father passed away last friday, and I find myself unsure as to what my emotions are, I loved my father very much, as do both my brother & sister. I am struggling with the thought of him not being here. And my heart Breaks in places I don't knowe how to fix. I just wanted to offer my condolences for the Great Loss you are feeling.

Hi, I lost my daughter in 2002 and it helped me to create an online memorial in tribute.

My thoughts are with you both!

Dad's sudden death

My thoughts are with you. I lost my Dad suddenly after a very short illness 18 months ago, so I've some idea how you're feeling. I wanted to let you know that it does get better slowly. The pain doesn't go, but it becomes less raw and you learn to live with it. You may not feel like it now, but life has to go on -it's what your Dad would want.
As far as readings go, I started my speech at Dad's funeral with a quote that I found somewhere: 'Life isn't measured by the number of breaths we take, but rather by the number of moments that take our breath away'. I hope it helps. Remember- although your world has been turned upside down now, you can get through this.
